On our most recent trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we stopped by the acclaimed Toy Story Land snack spot to try their newest delectable delight: A Chocolate-Covered Strawberry variant of one of the spot’s trademark tarts.
The $4.99 tart combines chocolate dough, strawberry jam, chocolate fondant, strawberry crisps, pink curls, and heart sprinkles into a pretty package. But how did it taste?
It certainly looks good
This Valentine’s Day tart delivers on what one would expect from it, but didn’t wow either. We were definitely able to taste the strawberry and chocolate, and that combination of flavors should satiate what many are looking for here.

However, most of the chocolate flavor came from the chocolate fondant, as the chocolate dough lacked much if any, taste. In addition, it was a bit dry and crumbly, making a bit of a mess to eat.
The strawberry jam was very tasty, sweet, and packed full of strawberry flavor. However, we found ourselves wishing there was more of it. The sprinkles on top added a really fun visual touch, although they don’t really add any taste.
Crumbs galore
Overall, we did like the chocolate and strawberry taste of this tart, and those particularly craving these flavors will likely enjoy it, but it’s likely not worth going out of one’s way to get. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World food reviews!
