We have some HAPPY news to report straight from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Over at Kilimanjaro Safaris, a sweet friend just celebrated a BIG birthday. Ever seen a hippo hanging out on the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction? Well, Viviana, one of the hippos who call Disney World home, is celebrating her 50th birthday!

Disney announced that Viviana celebrated her big day with cake (of course), partied with the Animal Nutrition team, and enjoyed her favorite foods. Now that sounds like a party!
Turns out hippos and humans are a lot alike! Disney shared that Viviana likes relaxing in her pools and spending time with her best hippo friends, Tuma, Tequila, and Ramona.

One of our favorite people to follow on Instagram, @drmarkatdisney, shared a clip of Viviana in honor of her birthday.
Viviana was born on January 22nd, so she’s been hanging out with guests on Kilimanjaro Safaris for YEARS! As you can see, Disney’s Animal Nutrition team even made a little “birthday cake” for the hippo. Um, that’s adorable.
