Fans of runDisney, it is time to get excited because Disney has just released the themes of this year’s Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend!
Throughout the year, Disney World hosts different Marathon Weekends. The 2025 Marathon Weekend just wrapped up, and the Princess Half Marathon Weekend is right around the corner. If you want to run in this year’s Wine and Dine Half Marathon, registration is about to open, and this year’s themes are “delectable.”
The 2025 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend will take place from October 23rd to October 26th, 2025. The races include a 5K, 10K, and a half marathon. If you want to register to participate in race weekend, registration opens for Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Members on February 4th, 2025. General registration begins on February 11th, 2025, at 10 AM ET.
This year’s themes are all about different meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. This is a theme that we can get behind since we love food here at Disney Food Blog! It is literally in our name!
The Wine and Dine 5K will kick off race weekend with breakfast. Mushu and Mulan will help you get ready to run in this breakfast-themed race.
The Wine and Dine 10K will feature Olaf to celebrate lunch, the mid-day meal.
It is always a good idea to carb up before a race, and for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon, the theme is all about dinner and will feature Lady and the Tramp.
For those looking for a sweet way to participate in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend, you can take on the Disney Two Course Challenge by running in the 10K and half marathon. By participating in this challenge, you will take home a bonus medal inspired by Princess Aurora’s 16th birthday cake!
As runDisney says, “Every Mile is Magic,” and if you are looking to meet rare characters, run through Disney World, and celebrate your accomplishments at the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Post-Race Party, make sure to mark your calendars for both registration and the actual Half Marathon Weekend!
