First up at this booth, we’re trying the new Fire Chicken Wings with sesame-seaweed crunch for $9. So these wings certainly live up to their name because they are FIRE, as in they have quite the kick. The flavors are a blend of sweet and smokey (it’s more like a dry rub on them vs. the wings being coated in sauce). However, we did think the chicken was a tad dry.

Also available at Red Dragon Spice Traders are the Spicy Gochujang Chicken Tacos with yuja citrus cabbage slaw. You can get these for $8. Again, this dish delivered on its name — it is spicy. It’s really good with a nice spicy and salty thing going on. Sure, it might make you sweat, but we loved it. The sauce is the perfect amount without it being overpowering. However, the slaw is the real winner here — it’s zesty and crunchy.

Drinks

For drinks at this booth, we tried the new Peach Makgeolli Cocktail for $18. This is made with peach rice wine, citron vodka, ginger liqueur, cucumber syrup, and white grape and lime juices garnished with a skewered frozen peach and grape. It sounds SO refreshing — but does it taste as good as it sounds? Yes, it does! It has such a wonderful flavor and you can taste each ingredient of the drink, but it all blends together well. This one will sneak up on you, though, because you can’t taste the alcohol.
