In addition to tasting and sipping your way around the Festival of the Arts Food Studios (also known as Food Booths) and taking in a Disney on Broadway show at the America Gardens Theater, you can also catch a show that’s exclusive to the Festival of the Arts in the evenings… and it just so happens to take place ON the park’s icon, Spaceship Earth!
First, a little background… When Spaceship Earth debuted its new permanent nighttime lighting in late 2021, it came with a bonus: EPCOT’s seasonal Festivals were enhanced with evening shows accompanied by music and individually themed to each Festival. In 2022, the show for the Festival of the Arts was themed to the Muppets’ “Rainbow Connection” — a perfect fit for this colorful Fest! In 2023, a NEW show celebrating the Festival’s beloved mascot, Figment, made its debut. In 2024, BOTH shows were presented each evening. And now, in 2025? Both the Figment show and the Muppets shows are officially BACK!

To catch the show during your Festival visit, you don’t have to worry about being in World Celebration at a specific time. The show begins when it gets dark outside and plays several times throughout the evening through park close.

If a few more rides close for refurbishment or long periods of time, the tickets should go down in price! Proves Disney wants our money for a portion of fun, and all of the closures are ridiculous.
Any news on how the ground lighting is doing? Heard it was back up, then that it was messed up again.
“Rainbow Connection” with the full immersive lighting a year ago was AMAZING.
I always enjoyed the majesty and spectacular and awesome grace of “ The Ball”, but now it has been turned into a joke.
