If you’re a true Disney adult, you know the magic doesn’t just happen – it’s planned!
From festivals to after-hours events, Disney’s annual calendar is packed with can’t-miss moments. While Disney hasn’t officially announced all of the dates for everything coming in 2025 yet, we’ve done the sleuthing for you. Here are six key dates you should already have penciled into your planner.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival (Late July or Early August–November)
Let’s be real: Food & Wine Festival is practically a lifestyle for Disney adults. This culinary and cultural celebration is THE crown jewel of EPCOT festivals, and we’re expecting it to kick off in late July or early August, based on previous years.
Last year, it started on August 29th and ran through November 23rd, so block out those dates and get ready to sip, snack, and stroll around the world. Whether you’re a “try one item from every booth” purist or you’re there just for the merch (I see you themed Spirit Jerseys), this festival is a must.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (Early August–October 31st)
Spooky season officially starts in the middle of summer at Disney, and we’re not mad about it. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party typically begins in early August and runs through Halloween night. Last year, it started on August 11th, so we’re betting on a similar timeline for 2025.
This family-friendly after-hours event means trick-or-treating in the park, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and that can’t-miss “Boo-to-You” Parade. We recommend booking your tickets early, especially if you’re planning to visit in September or October. The closer you get to Halloween, the faster those dates sell out.
Disney H2O Glow Nights (Late May–Late August)
Nothing screams summer like H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon. These neon-drenched nighttime pool parties are perfect for beating the Florida heat while soaking up the fun. Last year, the event kicked off on May 25th and ran through August 31st, so it should be safe to assume similar dates for 2025.
Expect shorter lines for slides, themed drinks, and a DJ dance party under the stars. If you’ve never been, this is your sign to make it a summer tradition.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (Early November–December 20th)
As soon as the pumpkins are packed away, it’s time for Christmas magic! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party transforms Magic Kingdom into a winter wonderland with holiday treats, snowfall on Main Street, and the festive “Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.”
This event typically begins in early November—last year, the first party was on November 8th—and runs through December 20th. If you’re dreaming of shorter lines and less hustle, we’d recommend aiming for the earlier dates in November.
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays (Late November–December 30th)
Who doesn’t love a little festive storytelling with their Disney magic? The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays features the famous Candlelight Processional, holiday kitchens, and celebrations from around the world.
In 2024, the festival started on November 29th, and in 2023, it launched a bit earlier on November 24th. This year, we’re guessing it’ll fall somewhere in that same range. If you’re planning to visit during Thanksgiving weekend or early December, this event is a must for cozy vibes and holiday cheer.
Disney Jollywood Nights (Mid-November–Mid-December)
In recent years, Hollywood Studios introduced a new holiday after-hours event, and brings glitzy, vintage holiday charm to the park, complete with themed entertainment, unique character meet-and-greets, and exclusive food and drink options.
In 2024, Jollywood Nights ran from November 9th to December 21st, so we’re anticipating a similar schedule for 2025. If you’re more “Tinseltown” than “gingerbread and cocoa,” this might just be your new favorite holiday tradition.
As we were saying, if you’re a TRUE Disney adult, you know the drill: mark those calendars, start budgeting for those exclusive snacks, and don’t forget to set your alarms for ticket releases.
