We don’t always get excited about things coming to Orlando International Airport, because well…it’s an airport.

However, we recently got word that new restaurants were coming to the airport, and, yes, we were obviously PSYCHED. Well, that’s not the only NEW thing coming to the airport. A new SHOP is also coming soon, and if you’re excited about Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe, you’ll want to shop there.

A new Epic Universe store is coming to Orlando International Airport. Now, this new store will be separate from the existing Universal Orlando store already at the airport. This store will be dedicated specifically to stock merchandise from Epic Universe. How fun, right?

As you can see, the store is not open yet. We spoke with staff, and they told us that it’s still under construction. This space was previously used by Universal as a pop-up shop for special events merchandise like Halloween Horror Nights and Mardi Gras. So, it’s now being converted into a spot for Epic Universe.

We don’t yet have an opening date for the store, but we do know that Epic Universe will open on May 22nd, 2025, so we can assume the store will be open before that.

As we previously reported, eight local restaurants would also soon be opening new locations within the airport (and we’ve always said the airport needs more restaurants, especially outside of Terminal C). We’ll be keeping an eye out for more updates concerning the airport (as most of us fly in and out of there when we go to Disney World, right?) and keep you updated. Stay tuned to DFB for more.
