Another day, another Disney World snack review!

It’s no secret that Disney World is home to some seriously stellar eats and treats, and anytime we get the chance to try a new one, we jump at it! With the holiday season officially in full swing, we’ve been checking out all sorts of snacks around the parks and hotels. And now, we’re checking out a new dessert that’s popped up at a recently opened restaurant!

We stopped by The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers at Disney’s BoardWalk to try a new treat! The Snickerdoodle Cheesecake Bar is made with snickerdoodle cookie crust topped with our signature cream cheese filling, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, and crumbled snickerdoodle cookie dough — and it’s a whopping $13.99.

It is so delicious — the base is nice and cookie-like, then you have the cheesecake filling, and you’ve also got a cinnamon-streusel topping. The flavors all work together really well and the dessert is not too overwhelmingly sweet. The cheesecake is creamy and thick and has a nice strong cream cheese flavor to it.

We do think this is better when it is freshly chilled — which it how it comes straight out of the bakery case — than it is after it sits a little bit, especially if you’re sitting outside in the sun when it warms up. Things tend to get a little mushy if you let it sit. Overall, it’s really delicious and we would recommend it as a snack based on flavor alone, but at $14, that price tag is a lot to pay for one bar. It’s certainly large enough to share with others, which does make the price sting a little less. That, and the fact that this cheesecake bar is straight-up delicious.
