We’re Not Exaggerating When We Say This Might Be the BEST Part of Disney’s Critter Country Overhaul

Some big changes are taking place at Disneyland Park!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is under construction and set to open soon, the area around Haunted Mansion is getting an overhaul, and Critter Country is becoming Bayou Country. There are quite a few new additions! And amid all this construction, Disney added an adorable new detail to the park.

Back in Critter Country (soon to be called Bayou Country), you’ll find a fun little gift shop called Pooh Corner! This store is themed to the Hundred Acre Wood and it has lots of nods to Winnie the Pooh and friends.

But now, there’s a NEW Pooh reference! Outside the gift shop, you’ll find the newly-added H2ONNY water fountain. It’s topped with Pooh’s hunny pots and dripping honey!

We love the little “H2O” reference on top — just so Disney can clarify that this fountain isn’t actually serving up sweet honeyed goodness.

It comes with two water spouts for regular drinking, as well as a bottle refill spot. We’re so excited to see more bottle refill spots pop up in the theme parks — hydration during a long Disney day is SO important.

We’ve been looking out for more additions and changes to Critter Country. The rethemed Bayou Country is set to reopen on November 15th, along with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and we can’t wait! We’ve already checked out the new ride on the East Coast, but now it’s time for Disneyland to shine.

When Bayou Country opens, it will be home to new shops. You’ll still be able to enjoy some old fan favorites like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Harbour Galley though. And soon, Hungry Bear Restaurant will become Hungry Bear BBQ Jamboree.
