Why Every Disney Fan Will Be Glued to Their Screens on September 25th

We’ve been getting pretty hyped for upcoming Disney movies!

Back during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we got quite a few updates about Disney movies coming soon, including some exciting sequels. There’s going to be a lot to watch in the next few years! But if you’re eager to start the Disney movie marathon now, we’ve got some important information for you.

We have a feeling Disney+ is going to be pretty busy on September 25th. Why? Because Disney announced that September 25th is the day Inside Out 2 will drop on the streaming service!

This Pixar movie was the hit of the summer, making a whopping $154 million at the domestic box office and $292 million worldwide — and that was just for the opening! Globally, Inside Out 2 has claimed the title of the biggest global animated opening of all time. And domestically, it was ranked second, only behind The Incredibles 2.

The film also received incredibly good reviews from critics and audiences alike. Many who went to see it praised it, and some of the new characters (especially Anxiety!) have been well-liked by fans. About a month after its release, Inside Out 2 actually dethroned Frozen II to become the highest-grossing animated film of ALL-TIME, with a gross of approximately $1.46 billion worldwide.

So with stellar box office numbers and high ratings, it’s likely that this film will be quite popular on Disney+! For anyone who missed it in theaters, now’s your chance to check it out.
