You COULD Have Problems Booking A Disney World Trip Today — Here's Why

Okay, it’s super exciting when it comes time to book your Disney World trip.

You’ve researched hotels, you’ve figured out your budget, you know how long you want to stay, and you know what park tickets you’re getting. So you get on the Disney World website and you start booking your trip…and then something goes wrong. Well, that’s exactly what happened to us today when trying to book a hotel room on the Disney World website.

Today, we noticed the Disney World website was doing something weird. We were searching for hotel rooms for September 2025, and instead of giving us the price for the room per night, like the site is SUPPOSED to do, we just kept getting the “Check Availability” button.

We clicked on that “Check Availability” button and got a pop-up window to allow us to change the dates of our trip. However, when we did that, it just reloaded back to a similar page where all the rooms said “Check Availability.” Well, that’s a bit annoying, right?

We also got a message pop up on the My Disney Experience app that some digital experience might be down, so it seems there could be some issues with the app today, too.

The good news is that we just checked the website again, and the Disney World website seems to be behaving now. If you search for a room for specific dates, you get the prices per night again. However, we wanted to give you a heads up in case you have a similar issue because sometimes these things can still happen.

Note that if you do have issues with the website, your best bet is just to wait for a little while and try again. Most of these technical problems are fixed pretty quickly! Then you’ll be able to book your Disney World vacation and start the fun part: counting down the days until you leave for Disney World!
