Halloween season has officially kicked off in Disney World, along with the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. We’re checking OUT everything we can at the party, but most importantly, we’re trying the FOOD.
The party runs on select nights from August 9th through October 31st, and there is a lot to see, do, and more importantly…eat! A ticket will get you the opportunity to meet rare characters, see exclusive entertainment, ride your favorite attractions with shorter wait times, and get exclusive snacks. Well, we came for the snacks, so let’s check some out!
Before we get into it, be sure to check out the FULL list of food that is available at the 2024 events. We’re trying nearly ALL of the new food, so let’s get into it!

We are heading over to Pinocchio Village Haus to try some party-exclusive creepy snacks, including the Creepy Clam Flatbread with bacon, black ink pesto, Romano, and Calabrian chile aïoli for $13.79, and yes, we have some reservations about this one.
And we were right to have some reservations because WHY?! We were expecting a strong clam flavor, which was strange enough, but what threw us off the most was that flavor mixed with the bacon! While it really didn’t have the best first impression, we have to admit that we ended up enjoying the black ink pesto and chile aioli. In fact, if it just had those two things, we’d order it again, but as it stands, it’s a one and done for us.
If those flavors seem like a bit TOO much, you can also get the party-exclusive Spicy Meatball Arrabbiata Flatbread, made with Meatballs, spicy tomato sauce, provolone, Calabrian chiles, and basil pesto for $13.29.
You know how we talk about “Disney spice,” meaning that things Disney says are spicy really aren’t? Well this is NOT that — it is SPICY! There are red pepper flakes sprinkled all over, so that mixed with the spicy tomato sauce gives this treat a real solid kick. The meatballs were average, making this overall a decent choice AS LONG as you’re okay with that spice! If you’re spice adverse, stay far away.
You can also order the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Strips tossed in Korean barbecue sauce and topped with black sesame seeds, fried garlic, and green onions for $9.99.
These may look basic compared to the other absolutely wild options on the menu, but we’re not complaining! It’s pretty hard to go wrong with chicken tenders in a theme park (but it IS possible), and this sauce was fantastic and really elevated these. If you love sweet and sour sauce, you’ll love the tangy flavor of these.
For dessert, there’s the Swinging Wake Cake, a Vanilla cake with fruity cereal mousse for $5.49.
We were a little scared hearing the words “fruity cereal mousse” together, but it was genuinely really good! It tasted more like cheesecake to us, even though it says it’s made with vanilla cake and mousse. We will admit though that we weren’t a fan of the odd aftertaste, but that very much could be due to the black food coloring used for the outside (which does often have a strange taste).
Wash all those spooky snacks down with the Boo Raspberry Slushy, a Blue raspberry slushy with marshmallow foam, and a marshmallow ghost for $6.29.
Honestly, this tasted more like cotton candy to us than blue raspberry, so if you love cotton candy, go for it! It was a little too sweet for us, so we likely won’t be getting it again, but kiddos may love it.
