Say WHAT?! FOUR MORE Ships Are Joining the Disney Cruise Line Fleet

The fleet is GROWING.

This weekend, Disney is hosting the massive D23 Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California. The sprawling convention broke news from across Disney’s spectrum of offerings, including films, television streaming, video games, parks, and the Disney Cruise Line.

One of the (literally) biggest announcements to come out of Saturday night’s Horizons Disney Experiences Showcase panel was the expansion of Disney’s Cruise Line with another FOUR new ships. And to clarify, these are not the ships like the yet-to-be-launched ships like the Treasure and Destiny that we already knew about. As Disney explained on the Parks Blog, “Five ships are currently in the fleet, with four others already in the works. These new, four additional ships will bring the fleet to a total of 13, giving you 13 different opportunities to experience everything that Disney Cruise Line is known for.”

Disney went on to clarify that the new ships will arrive between 2027 and 2031 and that the ship names, designs, and exciting itineraries are still in development.” Stay tuned to DFB for further Disney Crusie Line updates.
