Disney is sharing TONS of news over the next few days at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
The biggest Disney fan event of the year!
While we’re hanging out at the event all weekend long from August 9th through August 11th, Disney is busy sharing lots of new details about new shows, movies, and more. Now, we just saw a brand-new teaser for a spin-off show that Millennials are going to LOVE!
Disney announced that a Wizards of Waverly Place spin-off was in the works featuring the classic actors like David Henrie and Selena Gomez. The new show will be called Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

Now, Disney has just shared an all-new teaser trailer for the show! The video is a behind-the-scenes look at the new show coming Disney+ later this year. You meet new and returning cast and characters and find out just what the wizards have been up to.

The video ends with the classic theme song sung by Selena Gomez, and if that doesn’t make you feel nostalgic we don’t know what will. This new show looks like it will be similar to other spin-offs recently made such as Raven’s Home and Girl Meets World where the classic characters are grown up and now have kids of their own. We’re excited to see what mischief and magic this crew gets into!
