Dream Job Alert! You Can Be Part of EPCOT's Most POPULAR Festival of the Holidays Event

Yes, maybe it’s a little early to be thinking ahead to the holidays…okay, we’re JOKING because it’s never too early to think about the holidays in Disney World.

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

Tickets are already on sale for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom, after all. You can also buy tickets now for Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is returning for its second year. So YES, let’s start thinking about the holiday season in Disney World. We’re also looking forward to this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, with all its great food, entertainment, and holiday cheer. Now, we need to talk about TWO offerings we’ll see return for this year’s festival.

When we were checking out Disney’s latest audition notices, we spotted an audition call for “Vocalists for Candlelight Voices of Liberty.” Disney is looking for ensemble vocalists for a holiday cast of the Voice of Liberty for the Candlelight Processional. This reaffirms that the Candlelight Processional will return to EPCOT this year for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. YAY!

The Candlelight Processional generally takes place at the American Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure Pavilion in EPCOT, but we don’t have confirmation of the location for 2024’s festival just yet. It’s likely it will return there, as the upcoming EPCOT Food & Wine Festival’s Eat to the Beat concert series will continue at that location, rather than move to CommuniCore Hall and Plaza, which Disney has previously said would be used for festivals.

Candlelight Processional

Disney also posted another audition notice for actors for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. The audition notice confirms that Disney is looking for actors to be the Storytellers at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays — those performers who tell stories about the traditions of each country’s pavilion in World Showcase.

These audition notices are confirmation that both the Storytellers and Candlelight Processional will return this year for the festival. Talk about a DREAM job, right?! The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays will run from November 29th through December 30th.
