HURRY! Limited Time Cooking Demonstrations Are Happening in Disney Springs!

We’re just a little obsessed with Disney food (yes, we know, SHOCKER, right? 😉).

We spend a lot of time visiting restaurants in Disney World, trying out new snacks, and checking out all the fun food festivals and events. Right now, a fun festival is happening in Disney Springs, called Flavors of Florida, and it focuses on all the great food the state of Florida has to offer imagined by Disney Springs chefs. We’ve already told you about some of the food you’ll be able to get at this year’s Flavors of Florida event, but there’s also a cool culinary series where you can watch these chefs live in action!

We got a sneak peek at one of the Culinary Series hosted by Kroger Delivery during a recent event. During this series, you’ll get to watch Disney chefs create their signature Flavors of Florida dishes. We got to watch Chef Takeshi Ikeuchi from Morimoto Asia prepare the delicious Florida Key West Pink Shrimp Salad right in front of our eyes! First, the chefs showed us what the finished dish would look like.

Then they go to work preparing it. So we got to see exactly how this special food item is prepared and put together.

Creating the dish

The Florida Key West Pink Shrimp Salad is made with green tea-infused Japanese soba noodles tossed with shrimp, radishes, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, and ponzu sauce.

It’s always so interesting to see these chefs do their thing. If you’re interested in watching the Flavors of Florida Culinary series, here’s the schedule for the full event:

July 12th, 9:30AM — Chef Mike Tiva from Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Grill will create Mushroom Gnocchi
July 19th, 9:30AM — Maneet Chauhan from eet by Maneet Chauhan will create Sloppy Joe Rock Shrimp
July 26th, 9:30AM — Celebrity Chef Georg Paulusse (who is also the Disney World regional executive chef) will make Orange Pilsner Goat Cheese Dip and St. Augustine Pepper Frites
August 2nd, 9:30AM — Chef Josh Williams from Summer House at the Lake will create Key West Shrimp Tostones
August 9th, 9:30AM — Chef Bradley Warner from The BOATHOUSE will make Roasted Golden Tilefish
