BREAKING SAUCE NEWS: Something NEW Is Coming to McDonald's SOON

It’s certainly no secret that we love food here at DFB — we are Disney FOOD Blog, at the end of the day.

But, it isn’t just Disney snacks and treats that tickle our fancy. In fact, some might say we love McDonald’s almost as much as we love Disney, too. A while back, McDonald’s slid into our DMs to tell us about some limited-time offerings and then disappeared like that one person you went on a date with who never called you again. Except this time, you got a text back.

That’s right — McDonald’s is back in our text messages filling us in on the latest and greatest eats coming to their restaurants and this time it’s all about the SAUCE! McDonald’s posted something cryptic on X / Twitter about sending them a text to get details on something special coming soon, and by the time we went to text them, we realized they had messaged us first. Come on, McDonald’s, isn’t that a little bit desperate? Just kidding, we are always desperate for you, McDonald’s

We got a first text that read, “special message incoming from the halls of jujutsu high” followed by a photo and the announcement, “special grade garlic sauce out officially on 7.9 exclusively on the app.”

Now, we’re definitely not detectives, but judging by these texts it sounds like as of July 9th, there will be a new “special grade garlic sauce” rolling out at McDonald’s stores. But, it must be ordered on the McDonald’s app! We’re not too sure what this garlic sauce will taste like, but we’re excited about it either way.
