Don't Forget! Registration Opens for an EXCLUSIVE Disney World After Hours Event Tomorrow

If you’re a new member, you’re probably still learning about all the perks a DVC membership can get you, outside of stays at Disney properties all over the world. You also qualify for exclusive merchandise, discounts on food and merchandise, exclusive lounges in the parks, members-only events and trips, and much, much more. Well, one of those perks includes a special after hours event at Disney World called Moonlight Magic, and if you’re interested in attending the next one, registration opens TOMORROW.

So what exactly is Moonlight Magic? It’s a special after hours event exclusive to DVC members at a select theme park after the park has closed to the public. You’ll get to enjoy short wait times for rides, Disney characters, entertainment, and complimentary treats throughout the night.

The next two Moonlight Magic events will take place on June 4th and July 11th at Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. So you’ll be able to enjoy the water park after the public has left for the day. Early registration for the event has ended, but registration for the general public starts tomorrow, June 27th, and is open to all eligible members.

Note that only one event date for each park will be available to each DVC member. You’ll be able to register yourself, though, and up to four additional guests per membership (up to a total of 5 people) or up to the number of guests on your resort reservation. Children three years old and younger do not need to be registered.

You cannot modify your reservation through Member Services. If you need to make changes, you will be able to do via a link sent to you in your reservation confirmation email. Canceling and rebooking, though, could increase your risk of losing your registration. Changes and cancelations cannot be made on the same day as booking. Disney also requests that members cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the event.

You’ll also need to note that Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lanes will not be available during the event, but don’t worry — you won’t need them. Lines should be short enough to ride everything you want to ride during the evening.
