It’s summer in Disney World, and you know what that means. It means a lot of heat and humidity with the occasional storm that will make it feel even hotter and more humid.

If you’re visiting Disney World in the summer, you’ve probably seen us recommend some essentials like water bottles (because staying hydrated is even MORE important in the summer than at any other time of the year), cooling towels (these can be lifesavers), sunblock (you have to protect your skin), and more. One of the things we also often recommend are small portable fans that can create a little breeze for you when it just feels like the hot air outside is WAY too much.

We love these misting fans because you can fill them with water and use them to cool yourself off any time you feel like it and then refill them for later. These are also small enough to keep in your park bag and just pull out whenever you need a cool spritz. The opening on these bottles are also large enough that you can add ice, which you’ll appreciate when it’s 100 degrees in Disney World. You can even get them in a variety of colors. A neck fan is also a great portable way to stay cool in Disney World. Just having air blowing on your neck can make you feel a lot less miserable whether you’re waiting in line for a ride or just walking down Main Street, U.S.A. You can get from 4 to 16 hours with this baby, too (depending on what speed you set it for), plus it can be charged via USB.
