A brand-new themed cruise is setting sail from Miami to Cozumel next May, and the whole trip sounds like a food-lovers delight.

The Chefs Making Waves cruise advertises itself as a “Food, Wine, & Spirits Festival at Sea.” The four-night cruise on the Norwegian Gem promises to include “live culinary and mixology demos, dance parties, theme nights, and more with world-renowned chefs,” with guests including Richard Blais, Caludette Zepeda, Jonathan Waxman, Tom Colicchio, Scott Conant, Robert Irvine, and– in a name VERY familiar to Disney Springs fans – – Maneet Chauhan. Chefs Making Waves

The cruise will feature numerous special events, including Restaurant Takeovers, which will see the celebrity chefs “take over” the restaurants aboard Norwegian Gem. Each restaurant “will be will be open nightly for dinner service, and each will have its own specially curated menu, with multiple course options.” There will also be Buffet Spotlights, where the guest chefs will be curating dishes all day at the ship’s Garden Cafe buffet. In addition to these onboard events, there is a litany of excursions during the ship’s stop in Cozumel, Mexico, including “fishing, snorkeling, and diving opportunities,” as well as trips to the area’s beaches and local markets.
