Southwest Airlines is in the midst of a deal to celebrate its birthday and Wanna Get Away Day, and that’s not all it’s offering! The popular airline is also hosting a NEW sweepstakes where you could possibly win FREE FLIGHTS!

Southwest Airlines’ 2024 Wanna Get Away Sweepstakes will be held through June 18th, 2024, and features prizes of up to 25 million Rapid Rewards bonus points and a promotional Companion Pass experience.

Bonus points will be allocated each day as such:

1,000 Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards bonus points to 1,000 people each day (3,500 on June 18th)
2,500 Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards bonus points to 300 people each day (1,500 on June 18th)
5,000 Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards bonus points to 30 people each day (150 on June 18th)
10,000 Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards bonus points to 10 people each day (50 on June 18th)
25,000 Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards bonus points and Companion Pass to 20 people on June 18th

Instant wins are valued at $12.05, $30.12, $60.24, $120.48, and $301.21 respectively. Conditions of Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards points apply.

The Companion Pass will only be available to win on June 18th and will be awarded to 20 lucky participants. Companion Passes allow you to choose one person to fly with you free of airline charges (does not include taxes and fees from $5.60 one-way) unlimited times whenever you purchase or redeem points for a flight.

Typically, to qualify you would’ve needed to fly 100 qualifying one-way flights or earn 135,000 qualifying points in a calendar year, but the sweepstakes bypass that requirement.

The promotional Companion Pass is valid through June 30th, 2025 and Companion Pass Members can change their designated Companion up to three times each calendar year.

To enter the sweepstakes, you must be a registered Rapid Rewards member. If you’re not, don’t worry! Registration is free and membership is a good thing to have if you fly Southwest often. The sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents (except for Alaska) who are 18 years or older and have a valid email and Rapid Rewards account at the time of entry.

To enter, visit WannaGetAwayDay.com each day to submit an entry. You are able to enter once a day during the entry period. The sweepstakes is ongoing and will come to a close on June 18th, 2024 at 11:58:59PM CDT.

The sweepstakes joins other promotional offerings this week, including savings of up to 50% off base airfare, up to 25% off Dollar Car Rental rentals, bonus points on hotel stays, savings of up to $100 on vacation packages, extra points for Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Cards from Chase, savings on purchases of Rapid Rewards points, and a one-time points bonus on qualifying purchases by Rapid Rewards Shopping Members.
