Disney has parks and other destinations all over the world!
Disney Cruise Line takes travelers to several destinations or you can hop on a flight to one of the several international parks. You might want to visit places like Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, or The Bahamas. Each offers fun and exciting Disney vacation opportunities. However, there are a couple of these destinations that currently have travel advisories to be aware of while you’re traveling.
Disney ensures that you have a safe trip when you are at their destinations. But to arrive at the parks, you must go through the country and cities the parks are in. And in the case of cruise line destinations, you may have access to other experiences that aren’t controlled by Disney. So it’s always a good idea to be well prepared about the area you are planning to visit.
Currently, The Bahamas are at a Level 2 Travel Advisory which indicates travelers should exercise increased caution. This does not mean you cannot go to The Bahamas, it simply means that you should understand that something has happened in that country that increases the threat to tourists. In the case of The Bahamas, there is a level 2 advisory due to crime in the area.
Along with The Bahamas, China also has an increased level of advisory. In Hong Kong, there is a Level 2 Threat Advisory, while in mainland China (where Shanghai is) there is a Level 3 Threat Advisory (Reconsider Travel).
