The sun has set. The stars are out. We suddenly feel like we’re in a galaxy far, far away. It’s Star Wars Nite at Disneyland Resort, and the Force is strong.

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite is BACK! This exclusive event will happen on select dates throughout April and May (April 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th, and May 2nd, 7th, and 9th), giving Star Wars fans a chance to experience TONS of epic snacks, character interactions, entertainment, and more. But for a few lucky galactic visitors, there’s a NEW special honor you can enjoy!
Every once in a while, Disney hosts exclusive special events and invites attendees to dress up for the occasion! We’ve seen snappy looks for Dapper Day, spooky looks for Halloween, and even throwback looks for Disney Channel Nite. As you may expect, Star Wars fans came out in full FORCE (get it 😉) with some AMAZING outfits.

This year, Disney wants to highlight those dedicated Star Wars fans in an EXTRA special way! In fact, if you dress up in a Star Wars costume, you could be invited to join a special cavalcade with Mickey and Minnie! If selected, you may get to march down Main Street, U.S.A. — how FUN!
Getting started
The Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade heads down Main Street, U.S.A. around 10:25PM. We were lucky enough to be chosen for the parade! We loved marching down Main Street with Mickey and Minnie along with so many other Star Wars fans.

After the cavalcade festivities, we spotted participants posing for a group photo by Sleeping Beauty Castle. Check it out — the castle was all lit up with EPIC galactic projections!
