OK, is it just us, or has it felt like YEARS since Disney announced The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers would be coming to Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. Luckily, we can assure you this new snack spot is still on the way!
The restaurant is set to open sometime this year, and we’re SO excited to try all the delicious treats inside. If you’re as impatient as we are, though, did you know you can order a famous Gwendolyn Rogers cake delivered right to your HOUSE?!
We’re not kidding! Over on Instagram, we noticed that @thecakebakeshop was advertising its Walnut Crumb Cake for Mother’s Day. Looks SO GOOD, right? Well, we saw the words “available for shipping nationwide,” and we were SOLD.
Naturally, we BOLTED over to their website, and sure enough, most of their cakes, pies, and treats are available to be shipped (those that don’t say “pick-up only” next to the listing)!
Under The Cake Bake Shop’s Shipping Policy, shipping orders require five days’ notice before they ship. The company recommends choosing Next Day Air as your shipping option to receive the freshest baked goods. All of their items are packaged carefully in their Cake Bake Shipping Box with dry ice and/or ice packs to keep them fresh. Once you receive your item, head to their Dessert Care page to learn all about how to store your item(s).
This is a fantastic way to try out some of those POPULAR dessert options before The Cake Bake Shop opens its location at Disney’s BoardWalk. We’re hoping this restaurant is on its way to completion soon. Stick around for updates!
