We’re in the heat of Spring Break season in Disney World, and the parks are HOPPING!
Some of the busiest times to visit Disney World are the weeks before and after Easter, and this year is no different. We’ve seen incredibly high wait times, limited availability with Disney Park Passes, and very high prices for Genie+. That trend continues on the morning of Tuesday, April 2nd!
For the past several days, Genie+ has been continually hovering at $39 per person for the multi-park option, which is the highest price we’ve ever seen it. Even Animal Kingdom, which is often the cheapest park, has been priced at $29 per person.
On top of that, all five of the Individual Lightning Lane options (Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Rise of the Resistance, and Flight of Passage) were completely sold out shortly after 9AM, which is when the last Disney World park opened this morning.
Several popular Genie+ Lightning Lanes also booked up within the first few hours of the day, including Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Slinky Dog Dash. Keep in mind that these could pop back up later in the day as people modify and cancel their plans, so keep refreshing the app and checking back.
If you’re going to Disney World this week, remember to pack your patience! The parks will be very crowded and the wait times will be high, but if you rope drop, use Genie+ effectively, and set a list of priorities, you should be able to still have a great vacation. We believe in you!
Stay tuned to DFB for more updates from Disney World this week and all the tips you need to conquer your vacation.
