You Can Get FREE Solar Eclipse Viewing Glasses — But There’s a Catch

Something HUGE is heading this way…well, not THIS way, but parts of the U.S.!

Soon a total solar eclipse (no, not Sonny Eclipse) will appear in its totality (meaning you’ll see the whole thing). That means a lot of folks might be traveling to these particular areas for the big show put on by the moon’s shadow. That happens on April 8th, and in honor of that special occasion, you could get a pair of free eclipse viewing glasses with the purchase of a special treat.

You might be familiar with Sprinkles Cupcakes in Disney Springs. Well, Sprinkles has locations throughout the U.S., including bakeries on or near the eclipse’s path of totality. For the special event, you can pick up Sprinkles’ Red Velvet Cupcake. We think it looks a lot LIKE an eclipse, right?

You will also get a free pair of Eclipse Glasses with your Sprinkles purchase on the day before the eclipse. Note that these types of glasses are NECESSARY if you want to view the Eclipse (because if you stare at it with just your bare eyes, you could damage them!). So it’s a fun way to celebrate seeing a once-in-every-54-years event, plus get a safe way to view it.
