We're Expecting One BIG Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Announcement from Disney SOON

It may still barely be spring, but that doesn’t mean we can’t already be excited about Halloween in Disney World!

And, one thing we’re particularly excited about is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This special after-hours event brings festive frights, fun, food, and more to Magic Kingdom and we look forward to it every year. We’ve got a few details about this year’s event, but we’re expecting one major announcement from Disney soon!

We’re already getting excited about Halloween at Disney World! The season brings special decorations, merchandise, food, and more to the parks, but Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party probably takes the pumpkin-flavored cake. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a huge celebration that takes place each fall in Magic Kingdom. Technically, Disney has yet to confirm that it’s taking place in 2024 — but we saw a job posting online that leads us to believe it is.

And, if Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is coming back this year, well, we can probably expect to hear about it soon! In 2023, it was on April 20th that Disney announced the dates for that year’s event, so it’s possible that we might get some sort of announcement in the near future.

In 2023, the party happened on select dates from August 11th through November 1st, with tickets going on sale to the general public on May 2nd, 2023. Ticket prices ranged from $99 to $199, depending on the date. Disney released the information for the 2023 event around six months before it started, which would mean we could know the 2024 dates as early as next month!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Crowds

Thanks to a casting audition posted online, we know that Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade will be returning to Disney World in 2024! This parade is exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so it would be strange for Disney to start hiring for that parade if the Halloween party isn’t happening this year.

Keep in mind that this party is a separately ticketed event, so you must have a specific Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket in order to get in. A regular Magic Kingdom park ticket will NOT get you entry to this event. In the past, those with tickets could enter Magic Kingdom before the party begins at 4PM.
