Are you ready for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event?! What was once called the D23 Expo is coming up this summer and we’re getting excited!

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event

This will be the biggest Disney fan event of the year and features special exhibits, exclusive merchandise, presentations, and more. But, this year’s event is expanding to include a NEW venue for the evening panels, the Honda Center. We’ve given you a peek at the best seats in the house, and if you’re planning on attending this year’s event — you need to know about this important rule.

The BIGGEST panels and presentations at this year’s D23 event will be taking place in the Honda Center for the very first time. There will still be things happening at the Anaheim Convention Center like in years past, but if you’re planning on attending the Honda Center events there’s an important rule about bags you need to know!

D23 Day at Disneyland Resort

The Honda Center has a strict “no bag” policy. The maximum size bag allowed at the Honda Center is 5″ x 9″ x 2″ (whether it is clear or not). Medical or diaper bags are allowed, but they must be 12″ x 12″ x 12″ or smaller. Things like backpacks (including Loungeflys) are not allowed in the building at all.

In addition, keep in mind that the Honda Center does not offer a bag check — so if you’re coming from the Anaheim Convention Center or somewhere else, you’ll need to stash your bag in the car or back in your hotel room to avoid any potential problems. The rules at the Anaheim Convention Center are a bit more lax, however.

The D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket: a 3-day assigned seat for evening shows at the Honda Center and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $297/ticket
The D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 1-Day Ticket: a reserved seat for that date’s evening show at the Honda Center and same-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $99/ticket
The D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket (exclusive to D23 Gold Members): a 3-day floor seat for evening shows at the Honda Center, and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $999/ticket.
