A NEW Location of the McDonald's Spin-Off Restaurant CosMc's Is NOW OPEN in Texas!

This is not a drill: CosMc’s is expanding!

We’re at CosMc’s!

When McDonald’s created a spin-off restaurant, we knew we had to give it a try. We went, we saw, we tasted, and we came out of our experience with a few hot takes. Since then, we’ve been keeping an eye on CosMc’s, trying to gauge what the future may look like for the restaurant — and it looks like we may have our answer!

When CosMc’s opened its first location in Bolingbrook, Illinois, we were elated to finally be able to try their food, and we weren’t disappointed! Since then, we have been waiting to hear if and when new locations would open. We have been waiting for the opening of the second location added to the lineup for this business, and it is finally OPEN!

Let’s go to CosMcs!

The second location is located in Dallas, Texas, and opened on March 19th. Similar to the one in Illinois, it is a part of the pilot program and seemed to have a successful opening day.

“Have a nice sip!”

When the location opened, it also unveiled two NEW menu items that aren’t available at the Illinois location.

The new menu items are two drinks: The Beach Protein Frappe — which is a blend of ice, a blend of ice, a banana-flavored protein frappe base, and banana flambe syrup — and the Melon Herb Chiller — which is a lemon pinwheel and watermelon mint base poured over ice to add a kick to traditional lemonade.

CosMc’s is going to continue to expand while they are opening their initial 10 locations that are included in their pilot program. They haven’t announced opening dates for the rest of the locations yet, but we should expect to see them open throughout 2024. We should be seeing more open up in the San Antonio Area and throughout Texas!

There are no options for a sitting area

If you didn’t know, CosMc’s is a restaurant that features a drink-forward menu with some small bites and familiar eats (ahem, egg McMuffin!), and it favors a drive-thru and to-go ordering system. There is no interior dining space, so if you order inside, you will be taking your items to-go. They are currently working on an online ordering system, so be on the lookout for that if you have one of these locations near you!
