Construction Walls Are DOWN — A NEW Seating Area Has Opened in Disney World

Jambo, everyone!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

A good majority of us are probably wishing we were at Disney’s Animal Kingdom right now (or anywhere at Disney World, realistically). However, nothing beats sitting in the Tree of Life Gardens with a coffee, so that is what we’re daydreaming about right now. If you don’t want to hang out under the Tree of Life, no worries! A NEW Seating area has officially opened to guests, so let’s check out another place where you can enjoy your lunch (or midday coffee…or maybe both).

There are so many great places to grab a bite to eat and relax at Animal Kingdom. Sometimes it can be hard to choose, and the amount of DELICIOUS snacks at the park makes it easy to just snack your way around the park — and we now have a NEW place to sit down, relax, and enjoy your snacks.

Time to take a seat!

This spot is a great way to get a break from the hot Florida sun and enjoy some shade and a nice place to sit! The tables are large and can accommodate parties of up to 6 — so there is a TON of room for you and your family. There aren’t any ceiling fans or air conditioning here, so be prepared to still feel some heat if it’s hot outside, but the breeze should feel beautiful in here!

Karibuni!

The theming of this area is also beautiful! It fits in with the Africa area of the park, and these carvings are just one example of that! There is so much to take in while you’re sitting in this area, so be sure to take a look around while you’re enjoying your meal. Let us know what cool things you find!

Napkins, anyone?

Forgot your silverware or napkins? No worries! This area also has its own dispensers so there is no need to wander throughout the market to grab the utensils that you may or may not have forgotten. That may sound like a silly thing to be excited about, but the LAST thing we ever want to do during our Disney World trip is to take any unnecessary steps — and we have been doomed by forgotten utensils on more than one occasion.
