We have three words for you — returning character breakfast.

Character meals are some of the most fun dining experiences you can have at a Disney location. You get quality face time with some of your most beloved characters and get a delicious meal while you’re at. It’s a win-win, CHARACTERS and FOOD! While you can find several locations in the Disney World parks and resorts, you don’t necessarily have to visit Disney World to take part in one of these entertaining breakfasts.

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a Disney Vacation Club resort located near the city of (you guessed it) Vero Beach, FL. It’s located right on the beach and is very close to the Indian River. The resort itself has a TON of things to do including a pool with a water slide, shuffleboard, bike rentals, outdoor movies, boogie boarding, and so much more.

The resort is a DVC resort, but that doesn’t mean that non-DVC members can’t stay here. There are additional prices for non-DVC members or you can rent DVC points. This resort is worth a stay any time of the year, but it’s getting back one of its most enticing experiences — a character breakfast! Soon, you’ll be able to dine with Goofy and Pluto again at one of the hotel’s restaurants Wind & Waves Grill.

While the restaurant has previously had a character breakfast, the returning meal will have new food and drink offerings! You can delight in a tasty Pastry Boat that is filled with mini pastries and a side of mixed berry compote.

Or you can dig into a pile of Blueberry Pancakes with blueberries and homemade blueberry syrup.

They will also have Banana Foster French Toast which is made with fluffy challah bread and drizzled with a decadent bananas foster sauce, oh, and you get a side of BACON. Or you can enjoy a savory Treasure Omelet with cheddar, ham, bell peppers, and onions and a side of seasoned home fries.

A new drink will also be offered — the Citrus Splash! It has refreshing flavors of coconut with orange, banana, pineapple juice, and grenadine.

The breakfast will be available on Saturdays from 8AM to 12PM starting on April 20th! Reservations are now open, so go to the Vero Beach Resort website to book your breakfast now! The resort also offers a second-floor bar with a few menu items (and an amazing view) and a quick service market. You can also order off the Wind & Waves dinner menu at the pool bar.
