By now you’ve probably heard us talking A LOT about the new Fantasy Springs sea port coming to Tokyo DisneySea.

Fantasy Springs is an all-new expansion that will feature three new lands themed for iconic Disney movies — Peter Pan’s Neverland, Frozen Kingdom, and Rapunzel’s Forest. While all three lands sound like they’re going to be amazing, we’re primarily concerned with one particular restaurant inside one specific land — The Snuggly Duckling! The Tangled-themed land will have the restaurant of our DREAMS, and here are 5 secrets hidden within Disney’s pictures and videos that we’ve noticed about this rough and tough location.

We sang along with Rapunzel, also often wondering “When will my life begin,” but as soon as we got the news that a new Tangled-themed land was happening, we couldn’t believe our ears!

We’ve waited our whole lives (or at least since 2010) for The Snuggly Duckling to become a reality. If you recall, The Snuggly Duckling is the restaurant/pub where Rapunzel finds herself and Flynn Rider with all the ruffians and thugs. Spoiler: Everything works out while grown rough and tough men sing all about their dreams. We had a dream once that this place would become reality, and folks, it’s happening!

So, let’s dig in and see what Snuggly Duckling secrets we can spot!

Ruffian and Thugs Will Be There!

Disney shared an inside look at the new restaurant in a video. We all got to see exactly what will be inside the Snuggly Duckling, and we noticed a giant mural on a wall!

The mural shows the ruffians and thugs from the movie, and they’re clearly living out their dreams! Ulf, one of the thugs, dreamed of being a mime, and there he is on the far left corner doing exactly what he dreamed (you can also see him as a mime in Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure). Others share the wall space doing exactly what they love, which gives us butterflies.

Rapunzel’s Weapon of Choice

It would not be an accurate Tangled land without a FRYING PAN. Frying pans became weirdly popular after Rapunzel challenged any and all opponents with one, and there will probably be a few at the Snuggly Duckling restaurant, but one will be just for you.

The Sweet Ever After Dessert will be served in a frying pan! The dessert is adorable and looks like it’s going to taste amazing. But please, don’t use these frying pans as weapons in the park.

Get Ready to Break Out in Song

Here’s another movie moment for you. When we see Rapunzel and Flynn Rider enter The Snuggly Duckling, we expect the ruffians and thugs to be super scary and mean. Instead, they end up breaking into SONG about their dreams!

When the accordion and piano start playing, they all start singing. Well, in the video and concept art, we can clearly see the stage set with a piano. This makes us curious as to whether there may be some melodic moments while we’re eating. Could we get dinner and a SHOW?

New Merchandise

Disney shared the concept art image below of people enjoying a meal at The Snuggly Duckling. There is a lot to take in for clues, but some things we specifically noticed were some Viking-styled hats and hooks on people’s hands. Is this a clue about new merchandise we could be seeing in Rapunzel’s Forest?

There are buckets with The Snuggly Duckling duck logo on them in the picture, but our eyes don’t drift away from the hat and hook that are present! It would be so much fun to get some merchandise that comes from the outfits the ruffians and thugs wear in the movie.

Beer Steins

If we look again at that picture but zoom in a bit, you can also see the diners have beer steins!

Ok, so beer steins on their own might not be exciting, but can you think of any other place in a Disney park that uses beer steins? If you said Gaston’s Tavern, you would be correct! Gaston’s Tavern serves up LeFou’s Brew in a souvenir stein. Perhaps, that will be an option for a specialty drink at The Snuggly Duckling as well! Disney hasn’t announced the full menu for The Snuggly Duckling yet, but you know we’re watching for it.
