A Word of WARNING About Disney World's Newest Snack

That’s right — the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is underway, and the Easter egg displays have arrived at Disney World hotels. The Easter snacks are arriving, too, along with St. Patrick’s Day treats (ALL the green dye, y’all). Pastels are in again, which is a good thing because a new snack has arrived in Disney World and it’s fun, colorful, AND everything spring.

We decided to stop by Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom to see if there was anything new, and a Spring Popcorn Mix for $15.99 had arrived. Now hold on to your hats because there is a LOT going on in this popcorn mix. It’s Caramel Popcorn layered with M&M Milk Chocolate Candies, Crushed Vanilla Cookies, Mini Marshmallows, and Yellow and White Chocolate Drizzles. WHEW. Our dentist just cringed.

It’s so fun and colorful!

HOWEVER, we have a major sweet tooth, which is good, because you need it for this snack. But it’s a lot of fun with loads of textures like soft marshmallows, crispy vanilla cookies, and crunchy M&Ms. There are also TWO layers of toppings, so you’re getting pretty much everything in each bite.

LOTS going on there

Overall, it has a very sweet flavor. It’s also a LOT, so you might want to share it. If all of those toppings scare you, you can also request less — or more — of certain toppings. We were asked if we wanted the two layers of chocolate (um…yes, PLEASE?).

It’s ooey and gooey, too

We do have to warn you: grab lots of napkins before you leave Main Street Confectionery. This is a VERY sticky and messy treat, and if you have baby wipes on hand, well, that’s even better. Totally worth it, though.
