‘Encanto’ Is Coming to Disney World In A NEW Way

Now, we already know that Disney has spoken about including Encanto in the retheme of DinoLand U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can also meet Mirabel in Magic Kingdom now and see Bruno in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade. Well, it looks like Encanto is coming to Disney World in ANOTHER way.

The Disney Auditions site is currently holding a casting call for local talent for a “new experience celebrating Disney’s animated film, Encanto.” It is listed, though, as a limited-time offering, but the listing says it will be performed live at Disney World. So what could it be? It sounds like a show, right?

The audition notice says Disney is looking for “Two male or female-presenting hosts who sing, demonstrate exceptional storytelling, and, most importantly, can captivate the audience with their infectious and high-energy personalities.” It also sounds like Disney prefers actors who are bilingual and have comedy chops.

So if this IS a show, what kind of show could it be? Maybe something like an Encanto sing-along? (Seriously, SIGN US UP.) Or is it something else? Also, it’s only a limited-time experience, so does that mean this might be something seasonal, like for around fall and Halloween time? Also, WHERE is this experience going to be? We have SO many questions.

We can gather that if they’re seeking two hosts and not character lookalikes, we won’t likely be seeing performances by Encanto characters, but something else. We have questions, DISNEY! You can’t tease us like this!!!
