Mickey-Shaped EGGS Are a Thing and We Have Questions, Disney

When Disney tells us new food is on the way, words can’t express how excited we get!

However, when we find out that food is heading to one of Disney’s international parks, well…we’re still so excited for them, but we do get pretty jealous. Don’t believe us? Check out this INSANELY cool food heading to Hong Kong Disneyland this month!

We’re no strangers to amazing food in Hong Kong Disneyland, but these new eats coming to the parks are on another level. If you love Duffy and all his cute friends, you’ll love these new Duffy and Friends Desserts! Some of them look like waffle pops…

If you love apple pie, the Apple Pie A La Mode is not to be missed. Especially because the ice cream on top is in the shape of Mickey!

Seafood lovers won’t want to miss the Blue Mussels either!

Here’s where things get extra amazing — the Beef Meatballs Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce has something really special — a MICKEY EGG! How do they get it to look like that?! We’ve seen similar Mickey soft-boiled eggs with just his silhouette in Tokyo Disneyland, but never a full face like this.

That’s not the only dish with one either — the Grilled Chicken Breast with Teriyaki Sauce and Sweetcorn Steamed Rice also comes with one of those amazing Mickey Eggs.

The Tokyo Disney eggs are apparently made somewhere else and transported to the parks, but word on the street is the yolks and whites are separated, put into a mold, and then steamed to create the iconic Mickey shape (Yahoo News.) But, we’re still not sure how these detailed ones are made!

But this last one really makes our jaws drop too — the Fresh Fruit Salad with Mango Bavarois is a wondrous sight!

Disney hasn’t released specific dates when these items will be available, or specifically where they’ll be found, but we’ll keep you updated if/when we hear more, so stay tuned to DFB!
