REVIEW: You'll Regret Missing This SECRET EPCOT Festival Drink!

The 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has started, and in addition to the traditional booths, there are some bonus locations, including a NEW addition for 2024 — the United Kingdom Beer Cart!

2024 UK Pavilion Beer Cart

You’ll find the UK Beer Cart near the Rose & Crown in EPCOT’s United Kingdom Pavilion, and for this year’s festival, it’s added a NEW drink! Let’s stop by to check it out!

Drinks

Since it’s the only festival item at the beer cart, we bellied up to the bar and ordered the Scottish Thistle. This drink is made with Fords Gin with lemon and blackcurrant-cucumber syrup garnished with cucumber. You can get it for $9.75. Now, let’s talk drinks. This one has a BEAUTIFUL presentation. Just look at it — we’d argue our drink was even prettier than the one in Disney’s stock photo! When you hold this one up to the light, it practically shimmers.

Scottish Thistle

OK, ok; this isn’t a fashion show, so let’s talk about the flavor. This one has a very prominent cucumber taste — it’s the first thing we noticed. The drink itself has an almost slushy-like consistency, and our beverage was nice and refreshing. As we said, this one is super cucumber-y, so be prepared for that bright, cool flavor to stick out. There is also a hint of berry flavor here, thanks to the blackcurrant syrup.

Yum!

Overall, this is a light, sweet drink that’s perfect for people who aren’t afraid of a cucumber-heavy beverage.
