REVIEW: There's a NEW Limited-Time Treat in Disneyland!

Disney has been Celebrating Soulfully all month with some new snacks and special events, and we’ve been loving it!

Celebrate Soulfully Gospel in Disneyland

While the East Coast has had some pretty amazing snacks, don’t discount Disneyland! We headed over to try yet ANOTHER new sweet snack, and this one was really a winner.

Over at Troubadour Tavern in Disneyland, we grabbed the Sweet Potato-Pecan Pie that’s available for a limited time for the park’s Celebrate Soulfully event. It’s $7.49, and we couldn’t wait to try it.

This whole dish was served chilled, so the marshmallow topping was melted but served cold. It had a sweet marshmallow flavor followed by a buttery, nutty pecan flavor. The inside texture was kind of like a baked potato!

Sweet Potato Pecan Pie

This treat is just like your classic Thanksgiving side dish — the sweet potato flavor was pretty basic, and the additional marshmallow and pecan flavors and textures took it to the next level. If you’ve had sweet potato casserole, this dish will be very familiar to you!
