Disney Announces NEW Mickey Hotel Rooms Opening April 26th

It seems like Disney has been busy refreshing hotels and hotel rooms ALL over the world.

The Disneyland Hotel just recently got its own DVC villas. The old Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland just became Pixar Place Hotel with a brand-new theme. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is got some new DVC cabins. We’ve even seen new hotel rooms at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, BoardWalk Resort, Beach Club Resort, and more! In Paris, the Disneyland Hotel reopened with a completely new ROYAL theme. Now, a Hong Kong Disneyland hotel is getting some new deluxe hotel rooms.

Disney’s Hollywood Hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland is getting a Mickey and Friends update! The newly designed “Mickey and Friends” rooms feature some of your favorite classic Disney characters. You’ll see Donald Duck’s family, like Huey, Louie, Dewey, and Webby. But it’s the HUGE mural above the bed that will really get your attention. There’s Mickey, Minnie, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Pluto. Yep, the WHOLE gang.

Check out the Mickey pillows on each bed. Um…we want these for our house, Disney!

Deluxe rooms sleep up to four people with two double beds or one king bed. Also, there’s a fun circular mirror opposite the bed. As you can see here, the room’s colors are colors associated with classic Mickey Mouse — and we love it!

The bathrooms have also been upgraded — the mirror has a fun filmstrip-inspired frame. That’s because the overall concept for the hotel is Hollywood!

These rooms will be available in spring 2024, so if you’re looking to book a stay at Hong Kong Disneyland, you might just want to check them out for your visit. Note that the rest of the hotel got an upgrade last year. Those rooms will be ready on April 26th, 2024.
