Disney Just Announced a NEW Parade — And YOU Could Be in It!

There are a lot of great opportunities for magical moments in Disneyland.

Just being IN Disneyland, which is Walt’s OG park is pretty special. But we can’t deny that the character interactions there are also SOME OF THE BEST and include a lot of rare characters. Then there are the special events, like the Disneyland After Dark Nites, which are specially ticketed events with specific themes. Well, one upcoming Disneyland After Dark Nite gives you a chance to be in a Disney parade! No, REALLY!

We just got a TON of new details about the upcoming Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite and Disney is going ALL out for the event. The event dates are April 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th, and May 2nd, 7th, and 9th, 2024, and you’ll absolutely want to try to get tickets for it because here’s the deal: if you dress up in a Star Wars costume, you could be invited to join a special cavalcade with Mickey and Minnie and march down Main Street, U.S.A.

After, you’ll pose for a group photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, which will be “illuminated with galactic projections.” Um…be right back…we gotta’ book a trip to Disneyland. Some other fun things you’ll be able to do at the event include eating some exclusive Star Wars-themed snacks, seeing a ton of characters, attending a lightsaber instructional, shaking your thang at a dance party, and more. Plus you’ll get to ride a ton of rides. Bonus? If you wear a costume, you can also get some AMAZING night photos in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

So you’re probably wondering when you can book tickets for the events. Tickets go on sale for Inspire Magic Key holders on February 20th. All other Magic Key Holders can buy tickets on February 21st and 22nd. Tickets for the general public go on sale on February 23rd. Note that Disney has updated the virtual queue for its ticketing system this year so you don’t have to physically stay online the whole time you’re waiting. Instead, you can choose to be notified by email when the time arrives for you to purchase your tickets.
