CAUTION: Don’t Be Caught off Guard by This Hotel Change Tomorrow!

Staying at Disney Resort hotels is always a relaxing getaway from the stresses of everyday life.

From romantic getaways at Disney’s Coronado Springs to family reunions at Art of Animation, there’s something for nearly everyone! But what if the resort you’re staying at is planning to do routine maintenance? One Disney resort is experiencing just that on February 15th, and it may be a minor inconvenience for those staying there!

That’s right, tomorrow, February 15th, Disney’s Coronado Springs Gran Destino Tower will be experiencing a power outage! We saw this sign today while at Coronado Springs, and it says that a planned power outage will be occurring on Thursday from 2:00am to 5:30am! Luckily, you may be sleeping and won’t even notice it!

The power outage will temporarily affect the power in guest rooms. If you’re staying here during this time you may find that lights and TVs stop working during the scheduled hours of maintenance. This seems like pretty typical maintenance so there is nothing to worry about if you’re staying here! But if you use “Hey, Disney” as your alarm clock, be warned that it may not wake you up in the morning.

It does not appear that other areas of the Coronado Springs Resort will be affected by this outage, just Gran Destino Tower. We are keeping an eye out for any more related news, either here at Coronado or at other resorts, to see if they will be experiencing this sort of maintenance too!
