You see, back in the day, there was a magical place called the Disney Store. These brick-and-mortar locations could be found in your local mall or shopping center and were absolutely filled with all sorts of Disney merchandise and souvenirs. The days of these stores are long gone, and we’re left with shopping in the parks and online — but that’s all about to change (sort of!).
Guess what, Disney fans — shopDisney is rebranding and will officially be known as the Disney Store once again! This notice was posted on the shopDisney website. Disney’s website states that “Disney-owned shops, ecommerce, shop-in-shops and outlets are coming under one brand name: Disney Store.”

As of February 14th, 2024, shoppers can expect to see all new Disney Store branding throughout their online experience, and Disney promises a “seamless user experience” during the transition. Hopefully, that means the changes will go off without a hitch and we can begin shopping at the Disney Store once again.
Disney confirmed that live shopDisney orders will not be affected by this change — all orders will be fulfilled “as expected.”

The changes are essentially a new logo, an updated look for the website, and more updates “across social media platforms, including new imagery, videos, and stories.” Soon, there will be new packaging as well.
Disney has warned that, as these changes take place, “there may be limited times when access to the website is temporarily unavailable.”

Unfortunately, there are still no signs of the traditional, brick-and-mortar Disney Store’s return to its former glory, but we’re holding out hope. Resisting the urge to dive head-first into that mountain of stuffed animals was likely something we all struggled with. It’s okay, you can admit it.

Hi Brandon. They sent a direct email letting us and other bloggers/companies know about the rebrand. They have not officially announced the rebranding to the public on their websites.
