The MAJOR Reason to AVOID These 2 Weeks at Disney World in February

We just caught wind of an EXCLUSIVE party at Disney World!

While you may not be able to get into some of Disney’s most exclusive events, you should still know about them. Why? Well, because sometimes these events can attract extra CROWDS around the parks and hotels. When we noticed two special ticketed events on the calendar at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in February, we NEEDED to investigate. When we did, we discovered some important things you should keep in mind!

There are some special ticketed events going on at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on February 4th and February 11th. We went right to work looking into what this event was for — and we found some answers.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

During the first week of February, the National Dance Team Championship will happen in Orlando. One of the main venues for this event will be the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World. The teams taking part in this event will also likely be staying on Disney property, so if you’re planning your trip during this time, keep that in mind. Large groups and dance teams often stay at Disney’s Value Resorts, like All-Star Sports, Music, and Movies.

Teams participating in these events also have the opportunity to purchase park tickets to Disney World, so the parks may be more crowded during these times. On top of that, Disney is also hosting a party at Hollywood Studios on February 4th from 9PM to 1AM.

After Hours event in Hollywood Studios

Along with that, we also found a similar special ticketed event on February 11th. We began looking into that, too, and found that the 2024 Cheerleading Championships will be taking place on February 9th-12th.

ESPN Wide World of Sports

This event is also hosted by Disney. The teams participating will be staying on Disney property and will have access to multi-day theme park tickets to utilize while they’re at the event. This is also going to be hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Similar to the National Dance Team Championship, the special ticketed event on February 11th is for those who participated in the 2024 Cheerleading Championships.

If your trip to Disney World lines up with these events, keep in mind that the crowd levels may increase, and traffic around the parks may be more backed up than usual. Plan accordingly!

Right now, it looks like Disney’s Hollywood Studios will still be closing at 9PM for park guests on the nights of the parties, but we will update you if that changes as the events get closer.
