The show Ahsoka brought us a strong female lead to the Star Wars franchise.

While the character has been around since the days of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka received her own series bearing her name. The show had a successful first season with her battling some big-name villains and even bringing back familiar faces (oh, Anakan, how we missed you). But was that one season the end of Ahsoka? We’ve recently just found out!
According to Variety, season 2 of the show Ahsoka is officially happening! Ahsoka made her appearance in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett before actress Rosario Dawson starred in her own show, and now she will be back for more adventures.

The show brought several well-known characters from the animated series Star Wars Rebels to the live-action world to battle Grand Admiral Thrawn. We got to see Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and New Republic General Hera Syndulla fight alongside Ahsoka to defeat the new threat to the galaxy.

The news of a season 2 for Ahsoka was shared alongside the announcement that “Baby Yoda” will be making his way to the big screen in The Mandalorian and Grogu!

Other Star Wars shows coming soon to Disney+ are The Acolyte and Andor Season 2. It’s going to be an exciting year for us Star Wars fans!
