The Mandalorian has been one of the most popular Disney+ original shows, and many viewers fell in love with Grogu AKA Baby Yoda. If you’re a fan of the show and its characters, you’ll be excited to hear that a NEW movie about The Mandalorian and Grogu is coming to theaters!
Star Wars has reported that Jon Favreau is directing a new movie set in the Star Wars universe called The Mandalorian & Grogu! The movie will go into production THIS YEAR and will be released in theaters once it’s complete!

The movie is being produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni.
Favreau said, “I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created. The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”

Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, said, “Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have ushered into Star Wars two new and beloved characters, and this new story is a perfect fit for the big screen.”
