Ahhh…the holiday season is finally over in Disney World and you have room to breathe again in the parks, right? WRONG.
Despite lower Genie+ prices, Disney World has actually gotten busier after the holidays according to the wait times! We’ve seen some astronomically high wait times this week and park passes have been selling out. Which rides should you watch out for? That’s what we’re going to look at today!
Below, we will show you the average wait times from every attraction in Disney World over the past week. Note that wait times skyrocketed at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster this week right before the ride is set to close for a lengthy refurbishment. Learn more about the closure here.
Magic Kingdom
Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 109 minutes. Last week, the average wait time was 83 minutes, so the average has increased significantly since then.
Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 84 minutes, Space Mountain averaged 91 minutes, Jingle Cruise averaged 67 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 66 minutes. Average wait times held Haunted Mansion at 60 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 49 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 45 minutes, Enchanted Tales with Belle at 43 minutes, followed by Astro Orbiter and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 39 minutes.
After that, “it’s a small world” averaged 33 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini averaged 33 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway averaged 29 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant averaged 28 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin averaged 25 minutes, Mad Tea Party averaged 20 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 18 minutes, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 17 minutes.
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 15 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room averaged 10 minutes, and other attractions like Hall of Presidents, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Carousel of Progress, and Liberty Square Riverboat all tied at 5-minute average wait times.
The Country Bear Jamboree averaged a 14-minute wait, and Tom Sawyer Island was a walk-on this week.
Don’t Make This DISASTROUS Magic Kingdom Mistake in 2024
EPCOT
Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure took the top spot for the highest average wait time with 127 minutes, which was an increase from last week’s 90-minute average. Then, Frozen Ever After had an average wait time of 98 minutes. This is an increase from last week’s 75-minute average, but another ride took the 2nd highest spot this week.
That is Test Track which had a 101-minute average wait time this week. Next up is Soarin’ at 69 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 51 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 34 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 23 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 21 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 19 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 15 minutes, and Living with the Land at 14 minutes.
Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

Hollywood Studios
Slinky Dog Dash increased this week from a 106-minute average to a 125-minute average. Rise of the Resistance is next in this park with 122 minutes, up quite a bit from 99 minutes last week.
Other wait times in the park increased this week, including Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at 106 minutes, Tower of Terror at 97 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 94 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 79 minutes, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 72 minutes.
After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 42 minutes, Star Tours — The Adventure Continues averaged 31 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 15 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 10 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents averaged 8 minutes.
MAJOR MENU CHANGE Hits Popular Disney’s Hollywood Studios Restaurant
Animal Kingdom
Now, let’s head over to Animal Kingdom! After reaching a 150-minute average last week, Avatar Flight of Passage is up to a 170-minute average this week making it the longest average in all of Disney World.
Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 92 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 65 minutes, Expedition Everest at 63 minutes, DINOSAUR at 43 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 9 minutes.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 14 minutes and TriceraTop Spin also averaged 14 minutes. Both The Boneyard and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail were walk-ons.
