It’s no secret that one of the most iconic snacks in Disney World is Dole Whip. It’s a CLASSIC!
Since 1984 (WOW can you believe it’s been that long?), Disney World has been serving up Dole Whips in a variety of flavors, and there is pretty much a flavor for EVERYONE. Of course, we have our favorites (and we bet you have yours). This is also why we LOVE Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs because there is ALWAYS a new Dole Whip snack to try…or even a SAMPLER of Dole Whips. So come with us while we try FIVE Dole Whip snacks for, well, SCIENCE.
First, we’re starting with the Dole Whip Sampler, which gives you THREE (count ’em!) samples of Dole Whip combinations for $7.49 (a steal, if you ask us). Look at all those beautiful colors, too! Who’s ready to dive in?
The first combo we sampled was Dole Whip Cherry and Dole Whip Lime with Strawberry Boba Pearls and a Marschino Cherry. This is a winning combo. The cherry is more like a black cherry taste, so you’re getting a hint of bitterness with the kick and tartness of the lime.
However, although the description mentions boba pearls, ours didn’t have any, so we’re not sure what happened there.
Next up is the Dole Whip Lemon with Pink Cotton Candy Soft-Serve, Lemon Curd, and Cotton Candy. The lemon and cotton candy flavors work surprisingly well together, and we’re surprised at just how good the Cotton Candy Soft Serve really is. However, that particular Soft Serve melts SUPER quickly. Eat fast or bring napkins!
The lemon curd adds a nice extra zesty punch to the whole thing. This one is ANOTHER win for us.
The third sample was Dole Whip Pineapple (A CLASSIC) with Vanilla Soft-serve and a Pineapple Wedge. It’s a pretty standard Dole Whip, but if you love a classic Dole Whip, this will please you.
This one is generally included with all the flights here, probably because it’s a solid choice.
But, hey, we’re just getting started. We’re also trying The Little Mermaid Float for $6.49, which is Dole Whip Cherry and Lime swirled into Sprite with Strawberry Boba Pearls, Rock Candy, Seashells, and an edible Ariel round.
Yes, we’re doing cherry and lime again, and we’re here for it. Again, that hint of bitterness with the tang of the lime is a win-win.
The addition of the Sprite and Boba Pearls makes it feel almost like a holiday punch drink, and we’re not complaining about it.
Over at Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs, you can find the Little Mermaid Float ($6.49)! 🧜♀️🦀

But we’re STILL not done. We’ve got one more Dole Whip treat to go. This one is the Rapunzel Cone, which we’ve had before, but it’s changed a little bit. Previously, it was made with Dole Whip Lemon and Dole Whip Raspberry swirled in a lavender cone, topped with sugar flowers. Now, it’s made with Dole Whip Lemon swirled with Cotton Candy Soft-serve in a Lavender Cone with Sugar Flowers.
We’ll be honest: we like this version better! The cotton candy flavor really adds some much-needed sweetness to counter the zing of the lemon. It’s a better balance of flavors, in our opinion. Biting into the cone at the top, it tastes like chocolate with standard sprinkles. This is the treat you get when you want to add some new content to your Instagram account because if you’re just after these flavors, they’re also available in the Sampler — minus all these fun decorations.
So there you have it. Five Dole Whips in one day. What were we thinking? But we have ZERO regrets. If any of these sound good, grab them at Swirls on the Water before they change.
