2024 will be an exciting time at Disney World — we can just feel it.
One of the MOST exciting things that we’re looking forward to is the removal of park pass reservation requirements for most visitors after January 9th. And, although the updated rules for Annual Passholders aren’t as snazzy, there will be some big changes. Annual Passholders will still need park reservations if they want to visit a park before 2PM (and all day long on Saturdays and Sundays for Magic Kingdom). Further, Disney is introducing something called “Good to Go” days which will appear on your calendar in the Disney World app. These are dates when Passholders WON’T need a park reservation at all — and they’ll start appearing on your calendar starting January 11th on a rolling basis. So… what else do you need to know?
Disney sent out a message to Annual Passholders that was jam-packed with helpful information, like how the “Good to Go” days will automatically appear in your calendar after January 11th, and that these changes will replace the current “Bonus Days,” which are the amount of days Passholders are able to book past their reservation limit.
Disney also answered a BIG question that we had. What if we already have a park reservation, but that date becomes a Good to Go day? Well, that reservation will be removed from your limit. It won’t count against you! But, don’t worry — it’ll still appear in your future plans.
So, you’ll be able to move that reservation to a new date! Boom! It’s that easy. Disney said that the Good to Go days will be added on a rolling basis — days or weeks in advance — so it might be a good idea to keep a close watch on your calendar since it seems like it might be a bit last-minute sometimes.
We’ll continue to keep you updated with more Disney news and tips to make your vacations easier. Make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing.
