Disney Dropped a TON of Announcements Recently. We Bet You’ve Already Forgotten About This Magic Kingdom CHANGE

We know, we know.

Disney World is a WHIRLWIND of excitement all the time, but especially now. The holiday season is well underway, and we’re all looking forward to 2024, when some of our beloved park perks will return to Disney World. Yep, we’re talking all-day park hopping, the return of the Disney Dining Plan, and the removal of park reservation requirements for most visitors. With all the hullabaloo, it’s possible that you’ve forgotten about another exciting thing set to debut at Disney World soon.

The Pirates of the Caribbean restaurant! At this year’s D23 fan convention, Disney announced that a Pirates-themed lounge would grace Adventureland.

While we don’t know where exactly it will go, or when it will arrive, or what it will serve… We DO know that it will eventually arrive based on Disney’s announcement in September. Well, we hope.

Disney also said that the location would “extend the story of Pirates of the Caribbean.”

We have a hunch as to where the restaurant/lounge will go — the old Pirates League building is our best guess. It’s located smack dab next to the Pirates attraction, and also provides just enough space for an intimate restaurant or lounge setting. Currently, it’s being used as a break room for Cast Members — or so a little Barker bird tells us. 😉
