As the holiday season begins to wind down in Disney World, we’re starting to look forward to 2024.
That means we’re getting ready for the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, which runs from January 12th through February 19th, 2024. We’re ready to eat at ALL the food booths, watch the Disney on Broadway shows, see alllll the art, and more. Well, we now know about something ELSE confirmed for the festival, and it includes brand-new photo ops.
The EPCOT Festival of the Arts usually brings in some fun backdrops and photo ops that allow visitors to step INTO paintings and become part of the art. Although some photo ops will be returning this year, there will also be three NEW photo ops, including one dedicated to Disney’s newest animated film Wish, as well as one devoted to Sleeping Beauty.
Here is the full list of photo ops you’ll find at the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts:
- International Gateway: Luncheon of the Boating Party – Pierre-Auguste Renoir
- The American Adventure: Washington Crossing the Delaware – Emanuel Leutze
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: Mona Lisa – Leonardo da Vinci
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: The Scream – Edvard Munch
- Mexico Pavilion: An Homage to Frida Kahlo
- NEW — Bridge to World Showcase: Wish Storybook
- NEW — Italy Pavilion Courtyard: Teatime with Penguins
- NEW — Bridge to World Showcase: Forest Scene from Sleeping Beauty
Disney PhotoPass photographers will be available to take those photos for you, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for giant frames and big works of art! Where else can you say you got to pose with THE George Washington?!
Other things confirmed for the Festival of the Arts include The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, art exhibits, art performers, chalk art, Animation Academy, and the Expression Section paint-by-numbers mural that visitors can participate in. There’s plenty to keep you busy!
We’ll be at the festival LIVE on day one, so stay tuned to DFB for a full rundown of festival offerings, plus food booth reviews.
