NEWS: Disney World Park Hours Have CHANGED!

Okay, so your Disney World trip is booked, your travel is sorted out, you’ve got your park pass reservations, and you’ve made your advance dining reservations. You’re done with all the planning, right?

Well, no! That’s because things can change quickly in Disney World, especially when it comes to park hours. Yes, the park hours change OFTEN. We recently noticed some changes, too, that we need to tell you about, including an early closure at one park.

Okay, first up, we need to tell you about Disney’s Hollywood Studios because it is closing early tonight, December 10th, at 7PM. Magic Kingdom also closes early tonight, at 6PM, because of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Things are closing early on December 10th, so plan to spend your night outside the parks!

Okay, let’s talk about some other changes to park hours. We noticed that the hours for Christmas week have been extended. Magic Kingdom hours have changed to 8AM-midnight (previously 9AM-9PM) for December 24th through 30th.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is open from 8:30AM-9PM (previously 9AM-9PM) from December 24th through 30th. Early Entry will take place from 8-8:30AM. On December 31st, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open 9AM-12AM.

Hours for Disney’s Animal Kingdom have also changed. Animal Kingdom is open from 8AM to 7PM on December 24th (previously 9AM-7PM) and from 8AM-8PM (previously 9AM-7PM) on December 25th through 30th. Extended Evening Hours are on December 28th from 8PM-10PM.

Finally, EPCOT’s hours on December 31st changed from 9AM-midnight to 9AM to 1AM. Happy New Year!
